About the Group

Supporting the future of the UK’s offshore energy industry

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for the British Offshore Energy Industry brings together Members of Parliament and Peers from all parties who share an interest in the future of the UK’s offshore energy sector.

The group provides a forum for open discussion between parliamentarians, industry, and wider stakeholders. Its aim is to ensure that offshore energy continues to support the nation’s energy security, economic growth, and transition to net zero.

Covering offshore oil and gas, wind, carbon capture and storage, and hydrogen, the group recognises the importance of every part of the energy mix in supporting jobs, innovation, and investment across the UK.
